GINKOFAR FORTE 60 tablets

Ginkofar forte is used in adults to improve cognition in the elderly (age-related memory and mental impairment) and to improve quality of life in mild dementia.

Action
Ginkofar forte improves blood flow in the brain. Additionally, it dilates blood vessels and prevents platelet aggregation. This action is attributed to the compounds contained in the ginkgo extract:

- flavone glycosides,
-ginkgolides,
-bilbalid.

Usage method
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Dosage for adults: 1 tablet 3 times a day.

Ginkofar forte is taken orally, after a meal, washing down the tablet with liquid, the treatment should last for at least 8 weeks. In the event of deterioration of symptoms or no effect after 3 months of use, consult a doctor.

Composition
The active substance is the dry extract of ginkgo leaf (Ginkgo biloba L., folium) (35-67: 1).

1 film-coated tablet contains 80 mg of dry extract: native extract: 90-100%, with the following composition:

22-27% ginkgoflavonoglycosides,
5-7% terpene lactones (including 2.8-3.4% A, B and C ginkgolides and 2.6-3.2% bilobalide),
not more than 5 ppm ginkgolic acids;
excipient: liquid glucose 0-10%.
Excipients: Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, povidone, crospovidone, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica
Tablet coating: polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol 4000, talc, yellow iron oxide (E 172).
