CAPIVIT A + E Healthy and Beautiful Skin is a preparation used to prevent deficiencies of vitamins A and E that can lead to: growth disorders, impairment of the body's resistance to infection, chicken blindness, exposure to stress.

Composition

Peanut oil (bulking agent), pork gelatin (shell component), glycerol (humectant E422), vitamin A retinol equivalent (retinyl acetate, active substance), vitamin E alpha-tocopherol equivalent (DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, active substance )

Action

Capivit A + E is a dietary supplement containing in its composition vitamin A and vitamin E.
Vitamin A (retinol) is necessary for reproduction, growth, regeneration and differentiation of epithelial function, as well as for bone growth and development, and for the proper function of the organs of vision. In the retina, retinol is transformed to form the visual dye - rhodopsin - needed to adapt eyesight in the dark.
Vitamin A deficiency leads to twilight blindness, conjunctival dryness, corneal softening and in severe cases permanent eye damage and blindness.
In addition, its deficiency may be the reason for skin changes: excessive keratosis of the skin and metaplasia of the mucous epithelium. A decrease in infection resistance can also be observed.
Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant and protects against oxidation: polyunsaturated fatty acids, phospholipids that are part of cell membranes and other oxygen-sensitive substances such as vitamin A and ascorbic acid. It captures free radicals and interrupts chain reactions that damage cells.
Vitamin E also increases immunity and can also interrupt the damaging effects of free radicals leading to degeneration of the nervous system and cardiovascular diseases.
The combined use of vitamin A and vitamin E increases the protective effect against free oxygen radicals that damage the body's cells and accelerate their aging process.
