Mugwort herb is used mainly for gastrointestinal complaints; with flatulence, anesthesia, intestinal spine, catarrh and abdominal pain. It improves appetite and facilitates the absorption of food - for this reason it is especially recommended for children and convalescents. It is recommended to use it in a herbal mixture with yarrow, chamomile, basil and marjoram. It also has healing effects on liver diseases - for this purpose, however, infusions made from a mixture of herbs containing mugwort, peppermint, tarragon, dandelion, juniper and rosehip are more effective. Sagebrush root, however, is not used for food ailments. In children, it is most often used as an antispasmodic, in adults, however, in neuropathies, neuralgia and epilepsy. Artemisia should not be used by pregnant women, nursing women and people with gastrointestinal bleeding, severely weakened, with appendicitis or hemorrhoids
